Special Education Parent Leadership

Round Table Events

Come to the table and meet with parent leaders, professionals, and community members in your county! Discuss strategies, challenges and success stories for running a school district-based Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) or a community-based group.

Our meeting will focus on the overview of “A Guide to Developing and Running an Effective SEPAG,” a brand-new resource developed as part of the START project in partnership with New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Special Education Professional Development and Office of Special Education Policy and Procedure and Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN).

This round table event encourages mutual sharing of information, resources, and effective tools to increase parental involvement in school district and community organizations to improve programs and outcomes for children receiving special education and related services.

I value the people who work at and volunteer their time at Bridgeton Library. They care about the library and it shows. The library is a safe and inviting place for my family to learn something new. The staff is always pleasant and helpful pull-quote-light
