About Us

Bridgeton Free Public Library

The Bridgeton Free Public Library has been a valuable and important center of our community for over 100 years. We provide diverse presentations, events, and educational programs as well as essential services to our city patrons and the people of the wider Bridgeton area. We offer patrons a wide-ranging collection of materials to spark your imagination and increase your knowledge on an extensive array of subjects. With our special collections and our historical and reference sources, the library is uniquely positioned to help with just about any inquiry or search you may have.
We also make it our mission to provide programming, educational resources, and materials to our community’s young people, encouraging within them a life-long love and appreciation of reading and learning. Partnering with our local K-12 schools serves to create a continuum of education as they move through their formative years.
The Bridgeton Library has so much to offer for patrons of all ages, come check us out!

Volunteer

I value the people who work at and volunteer their time at Bridgeton Library. They care about the library and it shows. The library is a safe and inviting place for my family to learn something new. The staff is always pleasant and helpful pull-quote-light
